How to: Install an internal EIDE CD-ROM drive.

Solution:


Backup files and remove computer cover. Set the drive selection switches on new CD-ROM drive, install the drive in a bay and connect the cables. Turn on the computer, install the drivers, and restart the computer.

WARNING: Electrical shock hazard! Make sure the power is turned off and the external power cables have been disconnected before removing the computer cover.
